Legal Counsel (Property and Corporate Law)

Allygroup is seeking a lawyer with 3-5 years of post-admission experience to support a renewable energy company as their in-house Legal Counsel. 

This role is available for candidates based in Canberra or Melbourne. Part-time/flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. 

This is an exciting opportunity to gain invaluable experience working collaboratively with technically skilled, like-minded people in a contract opportunity with the chance to a permanent career option.

The work of this company is currently being outsources and they are looking for a highly motivated lawyer to help build and retain the corporate knowledge of the property transactions and legal work. 

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • High volume of property matters

  • Options to lease/purchase

  • Registering lease plans

  • Easements with Transgrid

  • Regional landholders

  • Land documents

  • Managing external counsel

  • Development consent
